Good morning, everyone! Even though the long weekend is (sadly) over and it feels like a Monday, it’s already Tuesday, so Friday will be here that much sooner! Yay!
Okay, now onto the topic of the day: who do you think is going to be engaged after tonight’s Bachelor in Paradise episode?! Before I go any farther, let me explain that I do not Google or read any spoilers related to whatever Bachelor franchise is currently airing. What’s the point of even watching the show if you’re going to figure out what the ending is? It’s like reading a book and reading the last chapter before even reading the first page. So, in other words, my thoughts are pure speculation based only on watching the episodes every week.
Based on the previews, it seems that there will in fact be multiple proposals tonight. There are a total of four couples, except Nick has already been announced as the next Bachelor, which rules out Jen and Nick. I totally think that Amanda and Josh will be one of the engaged couples, which leaves Carly and Evan and Lace and Grant. Let me just say that I am so happy that Carly seems to have found love with Evan! They were so cute together on their date and I was just exploding of happiness that they seem to be so in love with each other. So maybe Evan will propose? But then Lace and Grant got “Grace” tattoos, so maybe they feel close to a proposal too? Maybe there will be three proposals…? Okay, if I had to pick, I think the Amanda/Josh and Carly/Evan couples will be engaged. Who do you think is going to get engaged during tonight’s episode?!
Something else you should know about me is that Monday’s are my “cheat days” because then I get to enjoy a treat with the show! So my “eat-whatever-I-want” treat last night was a (couple of slices of) juicy cherry and rhubarb pie from Choice’s topped with some fluffy whipping cream. It was delicious and perfect for the evening. My wine of choice last night was Perseus, an Okanagan Valley Cabernet Merlot, because you simply cannot watch the show without a glass of wine!
My look today is driven on the fall weather that Vancouver has so swiftly already adopted. I love this vest because I can wear it in the Summer and I can also pair it with staple Fall pieces.
